Roman Vorobyov is a midfielder who plays for Krylia Sovetov. He was born on 24 March 1984 in Leningrad, Soviet Union.
Roman commenced his senior career at Fakel in 2005. A few months later, Vorobyov joined Metallurg-Kuzbass, where he made 17 appearances and scored 4 goals. From 2006 to 2007 he played for such clubs, as Amkar and Khimki.
In 2008 the footballer signed for Saturn. From 2008 to 2010 he featured in 48 games and scored a goal for the club. In January 2011 Vorobyov completed a move to Krasnodar, where he played for half a year, later joining Krylia Sovetov. Since 2011 he has made over 30 appearances for the club.
From 2007 to 2008 Vorobyov was called up to the Russia national team.
