Romulo Souza Orestes Caldeira is a defender of Hellas Verona. He was born on 22 May 1987 in Pelotas, Brazil.
Romulo’s professional career took off in 2007, when he penned a contract with Caxias FC, later he moved to Juventude but played there not for a long time. In 2008 Romulo continued his career in Metropolitano where he played for half a year till January 2009. After that the Brazilian became the player of Chapecoense and in summer 2009 moved to Santo Andre. In this club Caldeira made 43 appearances and scored 1 goal during 2009/10 season.
In 2010 Romulo started a new phase in the career when he was invited by Cruzeiro FC. The defender signed a long-term contract but managed to stay within the club for only half a year playing in 16 matches. In the beginning of 2011 he was loaned out to Atletico Paranaense where Romulo finished his Brazilian period of the career.
In the summer 2011 Fiorentina penned the contract with the player and he featured in 33 matches for the club before being loaned to Hellas Verona.
