Ronald Graafland is a goalkeeper of Feyenoord. He was born on 30 April 1979 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Ronald started his career in the youth team of Feyenoord, where he played till he was offered to pen his first senior contract in 1998.
Two years later, the keeper transferred to renowned Excelsior, where he made 86 appearances without conceding a single goal.
On 14 April 2001, Graafland got a severe brain injury and lapsed into a coma. The goalkeeper managed to make a full recovery only by 2005 and returned to Excelsior, where he performed till a move to Vitesse in 2008.
Graafland failed to come on the field either for his new club, or for Ajax, where he played later. In 2011 the footballer sealed a deal with Feyenoord and continues his performance for the club up till now.
