Rubén Pardo Gutiérrez is a Spanish footballer, he was born in Logroño, Spain, and started in Real Sociedad‘s youth system. Currently he plays for Real Sociedad as a midfielder.
Pardo started his professional playing career in 2010 with Real Sociedad’s reserve team, which was in the third division at that time.
In October 2011 he made his first appearance for the first team as a substitute of Markel Bergara, in the 0-1 loss against Real Madrid.
Pardo was called up for the Spain national team at different levels. He was selected for the 2009 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship but appeared only in one match. Being a part of Under-19 team he helped them to win the 2011 Under-19 European Championship, appearing in every match of the tournament.
