Rubén Pérez del Mármol is a Spanish midfielder of Atletico Madrid. He was born on 26 April 1989 in Écija, Spain.

Rubén was groomed in Atlético Madrid in between 2002 and 2008. In 2008, he signed a professional contract with the club and initially played for their reserve team. Pérez made his La Liga debut in a game against Getafe CF in May 2010. A promising young hopeful spent the 2010/11 season on loan at Deportivo La Coruña amassing 32 solid La Liga matches. The 2011/12 season was less successful for Pérez as he was used only in 9 matches for Getafe, his new temporary team. In the summer 2012, the player moved on loan to Real Betis and later on to Elche.

In the 2010/11 season, Rubén Pérez earned 5 international caps for the Spain U21 team. He was part of the squad who won the UEFA European U-21 Football Championship that year.
