Rustam Khudzhamov is a goalkeeper for FC Metalist Kharkiv. He was born on 5 October 1982 in Skvyra, Ukraine.
In 2000 the goalkeeper joined FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv. There the goalkeeper trained for five seasons, during which the coaching staff often granted Khudzhamov the opportunity to prove his mettle on the field. For five years at Dynamo-2 Rustam played 86 games, until being loaned to FC Zakarpattia Uzhhorod for half of the 2005/06 season. There Khudzhamov played 10 matches. In 2006 Rustam was bought by FC Kharkiv, where he was made the first goalkeeper. There Rustam proved himself as a reliable goalie, making a total of 59 appearances.
In 2008 the talented goalkeeper transferred to Shakhtar Donetsk. Khudzhamov signed for the club for four years. Unfortunately for Rustam, he didn’t get much match practice. To correct the situation the management of Shakhtar sent Khudzhamov on loan to Metalurh Donetsk in 2011.
Rustam didn’t make a single appearance at the temporary club though. In 2012 Khudzhamov was loaned to Illichivets Mariupol, where he made 10 appearances in the second half of the 2012/12 season. By the end of the season the club management decided to purchase full rights to Rustam and make him a regular.
In Januaru 2014 the goalkeeper moved to Metalist Kharkiv.
In 2009 Rustam Khudzhamov won 1 cap for the national team of Ukraine.
