Ryad Boudebouz was born on 19 February 1990 in Colmar, France. Currently he represents Bastia in the position of attacking midfielder. He also starred for the France and the Algeria national football teams.
The player’s football career started rather early: the boy was only 10 years old. At that time he performed for the local club SR Colmar. 4 years later a young midfielder entered the Sochaux football academy. Aged 16 he made his club debut.
On 15 May 2008 Ryad joined Sochaux on a three-year deal. Boudebouz made his debut for the club on 4 October 2008 in a league match against French OGC Nice. In the same year on 8 November he scored his first goal in the match against Le Mans.
Having played 178 matches for the side, the Algerian switched for Bastia in 2013.
Since 2010 Boudebouz has represented the Algeria national team.
