Ryan Harley is a midfielder of Swindon Town. He was born on 22 January 1985 in Bristol, England.
Ryan’s career took off in Bristol City in 2003, when the footballer penned a long-term professional contract. However, Harley had made only two appearances for the club before he was sent on loan to Forest Green Rovers in 2005. The midfielder was a transfer target for a number of clubs during his spell for Bristol City, but the management of the team wanted him to play at Ashton Gate.
However, in 2006, Ryan transferred to Weston-super-Mare, where he netted six goals in 26 fixtures during one season and drew the attention of Exeter City. In 2007, the footballer sealed a four-year deal with the new club and became a regular, who took part in 108 matches and fired 21 goals during his spell.
In January 2011, Harley’s services were secured by Swansea City, but he stayed at Exeter on a half-a-year loan deal. The midfielder made 14 appearances and found the net four times for the club during six months and completed a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer 2011. Ryan featured in 16 games and scored two goals for the new team during the 2011/2012 season.
After a brief spell with MK Dons Harley completed a move to Swindon Town in the summer 2013.
