Salvatore Masiello is an Italian defender who currently represents Torino F.C.
He was born on January 31, 1982 in Naples, Italy. In 2000 Salvatore launched his career with Venezia, where he managed to make a solitary appearance. He moved to Lumezzane in 2002, quickly becoming a regular and drawing reported interest from Palermo. Soon the Rosanero completed the signing of the defender but opted to immediately loan him out to Piacenza. During the 2004/2005 season, Masiello featured 39 times, fired 6 goals and earned high praise form Piacenza`s manager. After arriving back at Palermo ahead of the 2005/2006 season, Salvatore made his club`s debut in the match against Sampdoria on November 6, 2005.
In January 2006 Salvatore Masiello and Simone Pepe were co-owned by Udinese for around €250,000. His debut season saw him start three matches. The commanding defender then spent time on loan with Messina and Vicenza. In 2008 Bari reached a co-ownership agreement with Udinese. The club bought out Salvatore`s contract from the Zebrette. Unfortunately Masiello got involved into a frightful incident and as a result his contract was terminated.
On January 31, 2012 the defender joined Torino.
