A Ghanaian footballer Samuel Afum plays as a striker for Swiss club Young Boys. Samuel was born on 10 October 1989.
Afum started his career with Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, where he spent two seasons. Samuel’s brilliant game over the course of the 2008/2009 season helped Hearts of Oak to gain the league title. The next year, the striker was voted the top scorer of the Ghana Premier League with 13 goals being netted. In total, Afum amassed over 20 balls in all competitions from 2008 to 2010.
In 2010, the striker opted to join Smouha Sporting Club. Samuel helped the club to get the place in the Egyptian Premier League and became the squad’s top scorer. In 2012, Afum was invited to join the Belgian club Standard Liege, but the terms weren’t agreed due to some financial questions.
In January 2013, Samuel became the member of the Swiss side Young Boys.
