Samuel Llorca Ripoll plays for Celta de Vigo as a central defender. He was born in 1985 in Alicante, Spain.
A Spanish footballer began his youth playing career at SCD San Blas and then moved to Hércules’s youth system, where after graduating Samuel went on playing for B team. The season 2005/06 he was loaned to CD Alone de Guardamar, where he became a core player helping them to reach the fourth division.
The following team he signed for was Elche CF Ilicitano, where he spent one season with the reserve team and then joined the first squad. He made his debut for them in a 1–0 win against CD Castellón. During the 2007/08 he proved himself as a good footballer and was offered to move to England joining Sheffield United or Fulham, but eventually he returned to his former club Hércules.
In 2012 Samuel switched to Celta de Vigo.
