Sancak Kaplan

Sancak Kaplan is a Turkish defender currently playing for the Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa. He was born on 25 May 1982 in Erzurum, Turkey.

During the period between 2002 and 2004 the footballer featured for Malatyaspor that became the starting point of his professional career. In the 2004/05 season Sancak played for Adanaspor initially as a loan player and then joined the club on a permanent deal. From 2005 to 2007 Kaplan played for Altay. He came out on the pitch 62 times netting 2 goals. From 2007 to 2009 the player was a top-flight division player at İstanbul B.B.

Since 2009 Sancak Kaplan plays for Kasımpaşa wearing number 5 jersey. Within the first season he managed to take the field only 3 times warming the bench over the rest of the season. Since the beginning of his second season, the footballer established himself as a regular starter.
