Sandro Wagner is a German football player, currently he is a striker for Hertha BSC. He was born in 1987 and at the age of eight he left the youth academy of Hertha and joined the youth system of Bayern Munich. After graduation Wagner joined the reserves and on 21 June 2007 made his first team debut against Werder Bremen and on 25 July he netted his first goal for the team in the match against VfB Stuttgart.
On 9 June 2008 Wagner signed a contract with the 2. Bundesliga outfit MSV Duisburg. There he stayed till his move to SV Werder Bremen in January 2010. He played for the reserves and for the first team and in 2012 was loaned to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for half a season. In 2012 Wagner moved to Hertha BSC.
He was called up to represent the Germany national U21 team and in 2009 helped his side to win the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, scoring two goals in the final, when Germany defeated England 4-0.
