Saša Stamenković is a Serbian goalkeeper born on 5 January 1985 in Leskovac.
Saša started out his senior career with his hometown side Dubočica Leskovac in 2003. In two years he moved to FK Radnički and then spent two seasons at FK Napredak Kruševac. In 2008, Stamenković enjoyed a meteoric rise signing for Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade. He shortly established himself as a regular in the starting lineup and made a total of 85 appearances for the top flight club during his three-year stay. The goalkeeper was an instrumental figure in the 2009/10 season as his team won the Serbian Cup.
In 2011, Saša Stamenković left Serbia for Azerbaijan Premier League side Neftchi Baku and plays there to date. In his debut season at the top Azerbaijani club, Stamenković helped his team to win the Premier League title.
