Saulius Mikoliūnas is a professional footballer from Lithuania currently playing for Sevastopol. He was born on May 2, 1984 in Vilnius, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union.
In 2002, Saulius Mikoliūnas started his professional career at Šviesa Vilnius (Lithuania). His start was rather slow: the footballer spent most of the time on the bench or was not listed for matches at all. From 2002 till 2004 the midfielder featured in 13 matches and scored once. The scouts from Kaunas FBK saw the potential of the player and in 2004 the club signed him for one season.
In 2005, Saulius Mikoliūnas went on loan to Heart of Midlothian FC playing in the Scottish Premier League. The footballer stayed at the club for 4 years, each time extending the loan contract. He made 102 appearances and scored 11 goals for the team.
In 2009, Saulius Mikoliūnas signed up with Arsenal Kyiv FC, where he played till 2013 when he switched to Sevastopol.
Since 2004, he represents the Lithuania national team.
