Scott Dann is a centre back, born on 14 February 1987 in Liverpool, England.
Scott’s professional career took off in 2004, when the footballer penned a contract with Walsall. However, he managed to gain the head coach’s confidence only two years later because of various loan spells, which helped Dann to gain the necessary playing practice. In 2005, the back sealed a temporary deal with Køge BK and made two appearances for the team during six months. In the summer the same year, Scott went on loan to Redditch United and fired one goal in 11 fixtures till January 2006, when his services were secured by Hednesford Town. The footballer took part in three matches for the temporary club and returned to his parent Walsall.
In the 2006/2007 season, the club manager decided to give Dann an opportunity to come on the pitch. The back used the chance and showed stellar performance, which earned him a place in the starting XI. Scott featured in 59 games and found the net seven times for the club till the summer 2008, when he transferred to Coventry City. The footballer made 47 appearances and scored three goals for the new team during one year and completed a move to Birmingham City, where he went on to net two times in 50 matches during two seasons.
In the summer 2011, Dann put pen to paper of a contract with Blackburn Rovers and chipped in seven goals in 106 fixtures for ‘The Riversiders’. In 2014 Dann moved to a Premier League side Crystal Palace.
In 2008, the back was capped two times for the England national U-21 squad.
