Sebastián Marcelo Blanco was born on 15 March 1988 in an Argentinean city Lomas de Zamora. He features as an attacking midfielder at Metalist.
The fans of the footballer nicknamed him Blanquito. The player made his debut for Lanús on 1 March 2006. The first official goal for Lanús was scored in the 5th round of Clausura in a match against Racing. Since then he appeared in 140 matches scoring 19 goals.
In 2007 Sebastián won Apertura becoming Argentine champion.
