Sebastian Giovinco is an Italian footballer, who plays for Juventus on the position of forward or attacking midfielder. He was born in 1987 in Turin, Italy.
A product of Juventus youth system, he made his debut in May 2007 in the Serie B match against Bologna, substituting Raffaele Palladino.
In July 2007 he was loaned to Empoli for a season, where he made his first appearance in the UEFA Cup.
The next season he returned to Juventus but he wasn’t a regular player though he scored three goals during the season. In 2009 a newcomer Diego was signed and that led Sebastian Giovinco to the bench.
In August 2010 Giovinco signed with Parma FC on a loan deal. He appeared for his new team in a 2-0 win against Brescia. After such a good start he was called up for Italian national team. He managed to score two goals for Parma, where he played on loan, in a 1–4 win against Juventus, the club he belonged to. The next season he stayed in Parma, but not on loan and that was a fruitful period.
On 21 June 2012 Giovinco returned to Juventus and in August his team won Supercoppa Italiana.
Sebastian was called up for the U-16, U-21 and helped his team to reach the quarterfinal in the 2008 Olympic Games. He played as a substitute in two matches in UEFA Euro 2012.
