Sebastian Langkamp, a German footballer, was born on 15 January 1988 in Speyer, Germany.
At the very beginning of his football career the player performed for DJK-VfL Billerbeck. Later Sebastian joined the local club SF Merfeld, and then moved to Preußen Münster, where he played until 2005. The scouts of Bayern Munich took interest in the footballer and soon he moved to a new team, becoming the juniors’ captain. Two years later, Langkamp joined the reserve squad of Hamburger SV and didn’t have a chance to perform in the first team.
In 2008, Sebastian was sent to Karlsruher SC, where he signed a contract until 2010. In this club the German player succeeded in displaying himself and played in the first team. His debut for the senior team took place on 1 March 2009. Sebastian came in on the pitch against Stuttgart from the first minutes. On 25 April, he celebrated his debut goal against Bayer, kicking the ball from the distance of 46 meters. In total, the player made 61 appearances for the team.
In 2011, the contract with Karlsruher SC expired, so Langkamp was looking for a new team. Soon, he found himself at FC Augsburg. His debut took place on 14 August 2011.
In 2013 the player joined Hertha Berlin.
In 2006, Sebastian Langkamp was called up to the U-18, where he performed in two games. Since 2009, the footballer is called up to the U-21.
