Sebastián Leto is an Argentine footballer born on 30 August 1986 in Alejandro Korn, Argentina.
Sebastián embarked on his professional career with Lanús in 2005. He scored 8 goals in 52 matches for the club for two seasons. In 2007, Leto signed for the English side Liverpool but managed to play only in four matches with the team – two Football League Cup games and two Champions League fixtures, due to some problems with his passport. In the 2008/09 season, the Argentine player was loaned to the Greek Olympiacos. He cut a brilliant figure throughout the season helping the team to pull off the season as the Greek Superleague and Cup winner.
In June 2009, Leto moved to a fellow Greek side Panathinaikos where he plays till the date. He shortly established himself as the pillar of the team thanks to his constantly good club performances. Leto got off to a splendid start of the 2011/12 Superleague Greece scoring a brace in a 3-2 win over Xanthi. He recorded another brace against Ergotelis just a week afterwards. The striker was resplendent with 15 goals in the first 17 league matches but picked up a knee injury in January 2012 and faced a layout till March. Since 2009 till 2013, Sebastián Leto made a total of 29 goals and 91 matches in all competitions for Panathinaikos.
In January 2013 he was released from the club and was a free agent until Catania Calcio secured his services in the summer 2013.
