The right-back Sébastien Corchia was born on 1 November 1990 in the city of Noisy-le-Sec, France.
The player’s youth career started in 1996 when he joined Rosny-sous-Bois youth team where he performed for two years until 1998. The same year Sébastien went through a tryout at Villemomble Sport where he studied over a period of five years. He not only studied at the academy but represented his team at the youth championship as well. In 2003 Corchia once again changed a football academy. This time it was Clairefontaine academy where he studied from 2003 till 2004. In 2004 a young player was spotted by the scouts from Parisian club PSG who arrived in search of talented footballers. The defender studied at that academy until 2006 when Le Mans set their sights on the player. He accepted the offer from Le Mans and stayed with the club from 2006 till 2009.
In 2009 Sébastien was promoted to Le Mans’ senior team. He signed a professional contract until 2012. The defender became an outstanding player for the Ligue 2 club participating practically in all matches since 2009 till 2011. Over a period of two seasons he scored 3 goals in 80 total appearances for the club.
In 2011 Corchia received an invitation from Sochaux which offered him a lasting contract and a place in the major squad. He joined the club on a four-year deal.
However, once Sochaux were relegated from Ligue 1, Corchia switched for Lille.
From 2006 till 2009 the player represented France at all levels to which he was eligible appearing in 44 matches and scoring 3 goals.
