Sébastien Puygrenier is a French central defender who represents Karabükspor. He was born on January 28, 1982 in Limoges, France.
Sébastien played tennis until he turned 15. In 2001 he signed a professional deal with Rennes. From 2003 to 2005 Puygrenier was on loan at Nancy, where he featured in 27 games. Following his impressive performances at Nancy, Sébastien was offered a deal with the French side. During his 2005-2008 spell at the club Puygrenier made 142 appearances and scored 10 goals.
In 2008 he completed a move to Zenit St. Petersburg, where he played until 2011. Sébastien spent most of his time on the bench, making only 9 appearances during his 2008-2011 stay at the Russian club. He enjoyed loan spells at Bolton Wanderers in 2009, later reuniting with Monaco on loan.
In 2012 Puygrenier returned to AS Nancy for one season and moved to a Turkish outfit Karabükspor in the summer 2013.
