A Turkish footballer Sedat Bayrak was born on 10 April 1981 in Trabzon.
Being born in Trabzon, his first choice was obviously the local club Trabzonspor. Sedat grabbed the professional contract in 2000. Before this had happened he spent almost nine years studying at the academies of Yomraspor and Trabzonspor. Hardly had Bayarak entered the senior squad, when he was loaned out to Erzurumspor. He made four appearances and netted one goal for the temporary team.
In 2001, the footballer was hired by Akçaabat Sebatspor . He remained at the club until 2007 making 102 appearances and scoring three goals. In 2005, a move to MKE Ankaragücü happened. Sedat became the team’s regular player featuring in 56 matches and netting one goal.
In 2007, a four-year contract was penned with Sivasspor. Bayrak amassed five goals in 51 matches. In 2011, he was noticed by Orduspor. He managed a good season with the club making 14 appearances and netting one time. In 2012, a deal was finalized with Elazığspor. In the summer 2013 he joined Genclerbirligi.
In 2006, Sedat earned two calls for the Turkey A-2 squad. In 2007, the center back was invited to perform for the Turkey full side in a game with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nevertheless, he didn’t make an appearance during that match. Bayrak was selected to play at UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying.
