Semih Şentürk is a Turkish forward, born on April 29, 1983 in Izmir. He started his football career at a junior squad of Fenerbahçe SK. Having made 63 goals in 56 appearances, he drew the attention of the senior squad of Izmirspor and was offered to play for the team.
However, the results Semih Şentürk showed at Izmirspor left much to be desired and he gained neither success nor recognition. But the situation changed when the forward joined the senior team of Fenerbahçe, where he is playing at the moment.
Semih Şentürk proved himself to be an efficient and skillful footballer in the season of 2005/2006, when he netted 8 impressive goals while most of them were scored when the striker came in as a substitute. However, the 2006/2007 season was not a prominent one for the forward and his talent remained uncalled.
But the season of 2007/2008 brought changes, when Semih Şentürk scored a deal of goals for Fenerbahçe and the Turkey National Football Team at the UEFA Champions League.
In 2007 Semih Şentürk became the vice-captain of Fenerbahçe. His skills are highly praised by football specialists from different countries.
In 2014 the player moved to Antalyaspor.
