An Estonian footballer Sergei Zenjov was born on 20 April 1989.
Sergei’s junior career passed at the academy of Pärnu Vaprus, where he turned into a professional footballer. In 2006, he graduated to the club’s main squad. He managed a fabulous season with senior team, making 17 appearances and scoring 8 goals. He was soon noticed by other clubs.
In 2006, Zenjov joined FCTVMK Tallinn, where he was played during two years. There he got enough playing time, revealing his talent and turning into one of the team’s anchor players.
In 2008, Sergei was bought out by Karpaty Lviv. In the 2008/09 season he made occasional appearances only. But within some time the player got more playing time. He featured in 139 matches by 2014, when he left Ukraine and joined Blackpool.
His international career started with playing for the Estonia U-21 team. In 2008, Sergei earned his first cap for the Estonia national squad.
