Sergio Álvarez Conde is a Spanish footballer, born in 1986 in Vilagarcía de Arousa, Spain. Currently he plays for Celta de Vigo as a goalkeeper.
He began his youth playing career in his hometown’s team Arosa SC. At the age of 13 he moved to Celta, where he stayed from 1999 to 2004, until joining the senior reserves. Sergio played for Celta’s B team in the third division up to the year of 2011, with a season-long loan in Racing de Ferrol.
In June 2011, a Spanish footballer made his debut for the first team in a 3–0 win against FC Cartagena. Very soon, after the team’s starter Ismael Falcón’s left for Hércules CF, Sergio became a part of the main squad.
