Sergiu Suciu is a Romanian midfielder who currently represents Torino F.C. He was assigned number 23.
Sergiu was born on May 8, 1990 in Satu Mare, Romania. In 2008 Torino awarded the young talent a first full-time contract. Following his thrilling display for the reserves Sergiu got a place in the starting XI. On May 31, 2009 Torino’s fans saw Suciu in action for the first time when the promising midfielder was introduced as a second-half replacement for Tommaso Vailatti in the match against Roma. Unfortunately, on February 12, 2010 the player got a serious knee injury that sidelined him for months. Later that year Suciu was sent on loan to Legnano where he performed in 16 matches and bagged one goal.
On January 3, 2011 Sergiu extended his stay at Torino for another four seasons. But the club decided to loan the player to Gubbio so that Sergiu could develop his game. Later on he was sent to Juve Stabia.
In 2011 the Romanian youngster made the first start for the U-21 national team.
