Serhiy Rebrov is a former Ukrainian midfielder born on 3 June 1974 in Horlivka, Ukraine.
Serhiy began his professional career at Shakhtar Donetsk in 1991. In 1992, he joined Dynamo Kyiv where he played until 2000 amassing 93 goals in 189 Ukrainian Premier League matches. Rebrov won all the 8 league titles and collected 5 Ukrainian cups for eight years in the club. The 1997/98 season was a glorious one for Rebrov as apart from league honors he won several individual awards including the Ukrainian Footballer of the Year, the Premier League Player of the Season and Premier League Top Scorer.
In 2000, Rebrov moved to England to join Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. However, he got over the taste of disappointment there. It was hard for the Ukrainian to adapt to a new style of play and he scored only 10 goals for the club for two seasons. Later on, Rebrov played for Fenerbahçe and West Ham but in 2005 he returned to Dynamo Kyiv where he felt up his alley. He still holds the record of being the all-time Ukrainian Premier League top scorer with 123 goals in 261 matches. The last two seasons of his playing career Rebrov spent in the Russian Premier League playing for Rubin. He also scored 15 goals in 75 international matches for the Ukraine national team in between 1992 and 2006.
In 2010, Serhiy Rebrov embarked on his managerial career as an assistant coach at Dynamo Kyiv.
