Servet Çetin plays for Eskişehirspor. He was born in 1981 in Tuzluca, Turkey, and came through the youth ranks of Kartalspor. In 1999/2000 he began his professional career. He left them and joined Göztepe for the 2001/02 season and then switched to Denizlispor, where he spent a season, being a key player.
At the beginning of the 2003/04 season Servet signed a $1.5m contract with Fenerbahçe. There he wasn’t used regularly, being partnered to Fabio Luciano in the defense.
In 2006, he was bought by Sivasspor and at the end of the season transferred to Galatasaray for $600,000. There he proved himself a key player in the defense during the first season but later, under the management of Frank Rijkaard, Servet fell out of favor and left the club after the 2011/12 season. In summer, he joined Eskişehirspor as a free agent.
Servet Çetin represented Turkey at different youth levels and since 2003 till 2011 was a part of the senior squad and made his international debut in April 2003 in the game against Czech Republic. In total he made 59 appearances for the Turkey national team.
