Shai Lok is a central defender for Hapoel Be’er Sheva. He was born on 24 March 1990 in Israel.
Shai’s senior football career started in 2009, when he sealed his first professional deal with Hapoel Be’er Sheva. At first, 19-year-old Shai spent most of the time training and playing friendlies.
Lok debuted in official football match in 2009, in a Cup of Israel match. It was Shai’s only appearance in that season. In the 2010/11 season Lok featured in 4 appearances. In the summer of 2011 Maccabi Be’er Sheva proposed Hapoel to “borrow” Shai for one season. The deal was agreed upon, and Shai Lok went to earn experience in the Israeli Second Division. Having played nine games in the 2011/12 season, Lok returned to Hapoel in May 2012.
