Shimon Abuhazera is a centre forward who plays for Hapoel Ironi. He was born on 10 October 1986 in Israel.
Shimon took up playing football in 1999, when he entered Beitar Nes Tubruk football school. In 2003 he switched to Hapoel Petah Tikva and joined the junior squad. In 2006 Abuhazera penned a professional agreement with the club. From 2006 to 2009 Shimon registered 103 appearances and scored 28 goals for the team. In 2009 Shimon completed a move to the Greek side Larissa. Abuhazera made 19 appearances and netted 3 goals during his 2009/2011 stay at the club.
In 2011 the footballer was loaned out to Hapoel Ironi. Shimon impressed the club’s management by scoring 7 goals in 14 games, and his move to Hapoel Ironi was made permanent. In the 2011/2012 season the forward registered 36 appearances and netted 13 goals, helping Hapoel Ironi to entitle the Israeli Premier League.
