Shusaku Nishikawa is a Japanese footballer currently playing as a first-choice goalkeeper for Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He was born on 18 June 1986 in Usa, Japan.
Shusaku was groomed at Oita Trinita youth system and joined the first team of the club in 2005. He shortly established himself as the first keeper at the team and made a total of 118 appearances during a five-year spell at the club. He recorded the J. League Cup victory together with Oita Trinita.
In the 2010 season, Nishikawa moved to Sanfrecce Hiroshima and plays there today. In 2012, he helped them to win the J. League Division 1 title for the first time in their history. For his outstanding performances Nishikawa was included into the 2012 J. League Best Eleven.
Shusaku Nishikawa is called up to the Japan national team since 2009. He made his international debut in an AFC Asian Cup match against Hong Kong in October 2009.
