Simon Zenke is a football striker of Nigerian descent, born December 24, 1988 in Kaduna, Nigeria.
In his childhood Simon wanted to become an actor, but later rejected the idea. Zenke‘s excellent physique and stamina contributed to his becoming a professional footballer. Before signing for Niger Tornadoes F.C in 2005, he played with the juniors of Kaduna United. Zenke later switched to RC Strasbourg, where he played from 2005 to 2010 both for the reserves and the first team. He scored a goal in the Coupe Gambardella 2006 final match against Olympique Lyonnais, helping his team to secure a 3-1 victory. Simon made 59 appearances and scored 11 goals for RC Strasbourg B and featured in 37 games during his 2007-2010 spell at RC Strasbourg.
In 2010 many European club declared interest in Zenke, but he eventually joined the Turkish club Samsunspor. During his 2010-2012 stay at the club he made 52 appearances and netted 17 goals.
In 2012 Zenke completed a move to the French club AS Nancy. A year later he returned to Turkey and joined Istanbul BB. Shortly later he moved to Sanliurfaspor.
