Siyanda Xulu was born on 30 December 1991 in Durban, South Africa. He currently plays as a defender for FC Rostov.
Xulu football career began in the African local club Royal Coastal, thereafter he moved to FC Kaizer Chiefs. In 2009, the footballer started his senior career and joined FC Mamelodi Sundowns, performing in 73 matches and scoring 4 goals during three years.
On 15 June 2012, Siyanda Xulu made his debut for the South Africa national team in the game against the Gabon national football team. Xulu came off the bench during the 80th minute and assisted the team to a 3-0 win.
In September 2012, the player signed a contract with the Russian Premier League FC Rostov.
