Sławomir Peszko is a midfielder of Parma. He was born on 19 February 1985 in Jasło, Poland.
Sławomir’s professional career took off in Wisła Płock, where the footballer made 112 appearances and netted 22 goals from 2003 till 2008. In 2006, Peszko managed to lift the Polish Cup and the Polish SuperCup with his team.
In 2007, the club was relegated to the second division, and the midfielder spent half a year with the team before completing a move to Lech Poznań, which appreciated his contribution to clinching the title of the Polish Ekstraklasa Champions in 2010.
In 2011, Sławomir transferred to 1. FC Köln and helped his new club to take ninth place in the Bundesliga. His first goal for the first squad came on 30 October 2011.
In August 2012, the footballer was loaned out to English side Wolverhampton Wanderers till the end of the season.
In 2013 the Pole signed a deal with Italian side Parma but was immediately loaned to his former club Koln.
On 19 November 2008, Peszko made his début for the Poland national squad in the friendly against the Republic of Ireland. From 2008, he has been capped 24 times and contributed one goal for Poland.
