Stefano Fiore is an Italian retired footballer, who later became a football manager. He was born in 1975 in Cosenza and began to play football at his hometown football club in 1992. In 1994 he switched to Parma, in 1995/96 Fiore played for Padova and for 1996/97 he moved to ChievoVerona. After that he re-joined Parma and spent here two seasons.
Fiore signed for Udinese in 1999 and had a successful spell there until 2001. In June 2001 he moved to Lazio. In 2003/04 they won Coppa Italia and Fiore was sold to Valencia. He began to play for the Spanish side and then had loan spells at Fiorentina, Torino and Livorno. In 2007/08 he played for Mantova in Serie B, he didn’t play in the 2008/09 season and between 2009 and 2011 he played for his hometown team Cosenza, competing in the third division, and after retirement he took up coaching in Cosenza.
From 2000 to 2004 Fiore earned 38 caps for the Italy national team.
