Stephan Hain, a German striker, was born on 27 September 1988 in Zwiesel, Germany.
He began his football career in his native town playing as a youth for SV 1922 Zwiesel. Stephan continued his youth career in TSV Lindberg, playing for the team till 2003, and then joined SpVgg Ruhmannsfelden. In 2007 the footballer started his senior career, having moved to the Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, where he has had excellent results and has been recognized as a professional player.
Stephan Hain made his first appearance in the second Bundesliga in the tenth round of the 2007/2008 season. But then he didn’t distinguish himself and was substituted by Anton Makarenko in the 67th minute of the match. During the 2009/2010 season he appeared in 16 matches, netted three goals and made three assists. The following year, he scored more goals, and extended his contract with Augsburg until 30June 2013. On 8 May 2011, the player had a breakthrough when he netted the winning goal against FSV Frankfurt. Thereafter he became a key player of the team. In total, Stefan has played 63 matches for Augsburg and has put it in the back of the net fifteen times (as of June 2012).
On 28 January 2012 Hain set a record by making a goal after 20 seconds after coming in as substitute. The other player who managed to set the same record was David Mitchell in 1986.
In May 2013 the player moved to 1860 Munchen.
At the national level Stephen didn’t receive any callup. However, the young forward has a great potential, and therefore has a chance to get into the German national team.
