Steve Morison is a striker of Leeds United. He was born on 29 August 1983 in Enfield, England.
In 2001 Steve’s professional career took after he graduated from the academy of Northampton Town and penned his first contract with the club. The footballer performed for the team during three years, but managed to make only 24 appearances and net three goals.
Morison’s rare appearances did not prevent Bishop’s Stortford from securing his services and the player penned a contract with the club in 2004. He amassed 28 goals in 58 matches for the team during two years.
In 2006 Steve ended his Bishop’s Stortford spell with Stevenage Borough move and gave start to one of the most successful seasons of his career. The footballer managed to fire 68 goals in 127 matches during three years. In the summer 2009, Millwall lodged a bid for Morison, received a positive answer and welcomed the player into the team. Steve made 83 appearances and kicked 35 goals during two years, getting his teeth in the English football.
In the summer 2011, Norwich City was looking for a solid player so that to strengthen its team before the start of the Premier League season. Morison was one of the best candidacies and the club made the footballer’s capture one of its main priorities. After all peculiarities had been settled, Steve officially joined Norwich City and found the net nine times in 34 matches during the 2011/2012 season in the new club.
In the winter 2013 Morison moved to Leeds United and was loaned to Millwall 6 months later.
From 2006 till 2008, Morison was capped eight times and contributed three goals for England C. From 2010 the footballer has been capped for the Wales national team, took part in 15 games and went on to net one time.
