A professional footballer Steven de Sousa Vitória plays as a central defender for Estoril Praia. He was born on 11 January 1987 in Toronto, Canada.
Steven started his professional career in 2006, when he signed for Porto. Before he got promotion to the senior level, he’d graduated from the club’s academy. Hardly had the defender penned the contract, when he was loaned out by Tourizense. He spent the 2006/2007 season with the temporary squad, scoring 2 goals in 11 matches.
In 2007, a loan to Olhanense followed, where he was groomed until 2009. In total, Steven made 35 appearances and netted one goal.
In 2009, the player was sent on loan to Covilhã, where he spent the 2009/2010 season appearing both as a starter and as a substitute player. In 2010, Steven was noticed by the scouts from Estoril. The player signed a long-term contract with the club and became an official member of the squad. He continues to perform for the Portuguese side.
Steven de Sousa Vitória used to be the representative of the Portugal youth team at U-19 and U-20 tem. In total, he made 6 appearances at the international level.
