Sui Donglu is a Chinese defender currently representing Chongqing Lifan in the Chinese League One. He was born on 21 June 1983 in Dalian, Liaoning, China.
Siu started out his professional career at Yunnan Hongta making 11 appearances in the debut 2003 season. In 2004, he moved to Chongqing Lifan but was given little playing time there due to high competition at the club. That became a catalyst for the player’s move to Jiangsu Sainty in 2005. Sui Donglu shortly managed to bring out his full potential at the second-division club amassing 22 games in the 2005 season. His solid performances sparked interest of Shenzhen Kingway from the top tier and Sui joined the club ahead of the 2006 campaign. He got off to a fine start making 12 appearances in the debut season. But the next year after coach Wang Baoshan retired, Sui Donglu was kept off the first team and played predominantly for the reserve squad. He made only 23 league appearances for the side during a four-year stint at Shenzhen. In 2010, Sui Donglu played 14 matches for Chengdu Blades and in 2011 he moved to Guangzhou R&F who then competed in the China League One. In 2012, Guangzhou returned to the top-flight division.
Since 2013 Sui Dongliu has played for a League One side Chongqing Lifan.
