Syarhey Vyeramko is a goalkeeper of Belarusian origin who currently plays for Krylia Sovetov. He was born on 16 October 1982 in Minsk, BSSR.
Syarhey started out as a professional footballer at Dinamo Minsk. From 2000 to 2002 he played for the reserve squad, where he made 48 appearances. In 2002 Vyeramko signed for Arsenal Kharkiv. During his 2002-2004 stay at the club he registered 27 appearances. From 2005 to 2006 Syarhey played for the reserves predominantly.
In 2006 Vyeramko completed a move to the Belarusian side Neman. During the 2006/2007 season he featured in 43 matches, being the first-choice goalkeeper at Neman. In 2008 Vyeramko penned a contract with BATE. Syarhey made a huge impact on BATE’s first-ever promotion to the Champions League final stage, when he made a number of remarkable saves and denied a penalty during the away qualifying match against Levski Sofia on 13 August 2008. From 2008 to 2011 the goalie made 70 appearances for BATE.
In 2011 Vyeramko completed a move to the Ukrainian side Sevastopol. He quickly established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Sevastopol, participating in 10 games. However, he left the club, after Sevastopol had been relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League at the end of the 2010/2011 season.
In the summer of 2011 Syarhey Vyeramko joined Krylia Sovetov, where he was later recognized as the club’s player of the year. Since 2011 he has featured in over 40 matches for Krylia Sovetov.
Vyeramko has been called up to the Belarus national team since 2008. On 10 September 2008 the goalkeeper made his international debut in the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
