Takashi Kitano is a Japanese goalkeeper currently playing for the J-League side Omiya Ardija. He was born on 4 October 1982 in Sapporo, Japan.
Takashi began his professional career with the J. League Division 2 side Albirex Niigata in 2003. In 2004, the team broke into the top flight but Kitano was still used as a backup goalkeeper. He made his debut only in 2006 and shortly cemented his place as a first-choice keeper in the team. He made a total of 124 league appearances till 2009. In the 2010 season, Kitano joined Omiya Ardija and plays there today.
