Takesure Chinyama was born on December 30, 1982 in Harare, Zimbabwe. Currently he plays as a forward for the South African side Platinum Stars.
Chinyama began his football career playing for the local clubs. In 2006 he joined the Polish side Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski. Chinyama had a four-year spell with Legia Warszawa from 2007 to 2011, where he has made 72 first-team starts, scoring 36 goals. This result has made him the first non-European joint top-scorer in Polish Ekstraklasa.
Chinyama was released on a free transfer by Legia Warszawa due to never-ending health woes and the poor run of form in summer 2011.
After a short-term spell at Zimbabwe Dynamos he joined Orlando Pirates.
At the end of 2012/2013 campaign Chinyama switched for Platinum Stars.
Takesure Chinyama has received his first Zimbabwe call-up in 2005. From that time on he is an important part of the Zimbabwe national football team.
