Takuya Honda is a Japanese midfielder currently playing for Kashima Antlers in the J-League. He was born on 17 April 1985 in Sagamihara, Japan.
Takuya started out his professional career with a top-flight side Shimizu S-Pulse in 2008. He made a total of 65 appearances during a two-year stint at the club. In 2011, Honda moved to Kashima Antlers where plays to date.
In 2011, Takuya Honda earned two caps to the Japan national team for the 2008 Summer Olympics finals.
