Takuya Nozawa is a Japanese midfielder currently playing for Kashima Antlers in the J. League Division 1. He was born on 12 August 1981 in Kasama, Japan.
The product of Kashima Antlers youth system, Takuya joined the first team of the feeder club in 1999. He played in Kashima Antlers’ jersey for 12 seasons amassing 75 goals in 339 appearances in all competitions for the club during that period. Nozawa recorded four J. League Division 1 titles, three J. League Cups, two Emperor's Cups and the Japanese Super Cup during the 12-year spell with the club. The midfielder spent the 2012 season at Vissel Kobe but returned to his parent club Kashima Antlers ahead of the 2013 campaign where Nozawa plays today.
