Tan Tiancheng is a Chinese striker who currently wears the jerseys of Beijing Guoan. He was born on May 15, 1991 in Taiyuan, China.
Tan started out in the youth set-up at Beijing Guoan in 2002. Having fantastic attitude and willingness to learn, he worked hard during his training sessions. And in 2009 his progress was rewarded with a full-time contract. The promising striker was handed his league debut on September 27, 2009 against Qingdao Jonoon. However, Tan Tiancheng didn’t receive much playing time and the club opted to immediately send him out on loan to Beijing Guoan Talent so he could gain experience. His loan stint saw him register 15 appearances and notch 6 goals.
In 2009 the young striker earned a place in the China U-20 team. A year later he took part in the qualifiers for the AFC U-19 Championship where he netted 3 goals in 5 games.
