Ibrahim ‘Teteh’ Bangura is a striker from Sierra Leone. He was born on 27 December 1989. The player is known for his effectiveness and goal-scoring flair.
Bangura started his career with Sierra Leonean club Kallon. From 2006 to 2008 he managed to kick 14 goals in 30 matches for this team. The striker caught the eye of many European clubs, even Milan, however Bangura moved to the USA where he again showed his outstanding ability to score goals in different situations – he netted 7 times in 12 matches. After a year in the USA, the striker returned to Kallon for a short while and then moved to Europe.
At first Bangura played for Swedish side Köping from the second division. He managed to score 11 goals in 10 matches for his new club. Such effectiveness earned him a deal with AIK where he took part in 17 games and kicked 15 goals in the 2011/2012 season. In the same year Bangura completed a move to Turkish club Bursaspor. In the season 2013/2014 Bangura was loaned to an Israeli side Beitar Jerusalem.
The striker is a regular for the Sierra Leone national football team.
