Thomas Manfredini plays as a defender for Sassuolo. He was born on 27 May 1980 in Ferrara, Italy.
Thomas began his senior career in 1997 playing for Spal. A young player signed his first professional contract and joined the major squad. For two seasons he made 14 total appearances for the club. In 1999 Manfredini moved to Udinese Calcio where he appeared in 64 matches scoring 2 goals until he was given out on loan in January 2004. ACF Fiorentina became an interim club for an Italian defender. For that club he performed in 11 matches. In the summer of 2004 Thomas was loaned to Calcio Catania. Throughout the season he was an integral player of the defence. For that club he scored 3 goals in 30 matches.
In 2005 Manfredini was bought by Atalanta BC which he represented until the summer of 2005 when he was loaned to Rimini Calcio FC. During the 2005/06 season the player starred for that club in 22 matches. In 2006 an Italian defender was loaned once again to Bologna FC for which he featured in 28 games. At the end of his last loan spell he returned to Atalanta BC. In January 2013 Thomas moved to Genoa. One year later the player moved to Sassuolo.
In the year 2000 Thomas represented Italy in 6 matches at U-20 and U-21 levels.
