A Portuguese footballer Tiago Henrique Damil Gomes plays as a left defender for Estoril Praia. He was born on 29 July 1986 in Oeiras.
His junior career passed at the academy of Benfica. Tiago revealed his talent and recommended himself as a promising player, performing for different youth teas. In 2003, he got an offer to join the reserved team in order to get more performing experience.
In 2005, the footballer started making appearances for the main team, but he was still the member of the reserves. In 2006, Gomes signed the contract, but was immediately sent on loan to Estrela Amadora. The footballer spent the 2006/2007 season with the temporary club, making occasional appearances as the team’s starter. The following season would find him serving loan to Zagłębie Lubin, Poland. Gomes managed fabulous season with the temporary squad, making start in almost all the club’s fixtures.
In the summer 2008, Tiago moved to Spain to perform for Osasuna. After a wonderful season with the Spanish side, the player was scouted by Belenenses, where he was groomed during the following two seasons. In the summer 2011, Tiago’s contract was bought out by Estoril. The footballer continues to perform for the main squad.
