Tim Breukers is a back of Twente. He was born on 4 November 1987 in Oldenzaal, Netherlands.
Tim’s career took off in amateur Quick 1920 located in his native town, where the footballer was noticed by Heracles Almelo scouts. At first, the back performed for various youth teams, but soon was invited to the main team of the club. Breukers’s senior début came on 2 December 2007 in the away 6-0 loss to Rotterdam side Feyenoord. In the 2009/2010 season, the player clinched a place in the starting XI and propelled his team to the finals of the KNVB Cup the following year. Tim made 146 appearances during five years, but did not manage to score.
On 16 April 2012, the footballer penned a three-year contract with Twente, where he performs at the position of a right back and wears number 16 shirt. Breukers made his first appearance for the new club on 5 July 2012 in the Europa League qualifier versus Andorra side Escale Santa Coloma, which ended in a 6-0 victory of his squad.
